BrightSign unveiled the new XC Player Series at Infocomm 2022 in Las Vegas. Multiple HDMI outputs, premium HTML performance and stunning 8K video and graphics make the BrightSign XC5 players the most powerful digital signage players in the industry.

"To call our new XC5 media players an evolution of our existing media players would not do them justice. We have created the most powerful solid-state media players on the market through exponential leaps in performance.", said BrightSign CEO Jeff Hastings. 

"However, we didn't develop these new players based on their technical specs alone. We worked closely with many of our top CMS partners to find out what performance and usability features they value most. Their feedback was invaluable as we refined this new offering, and we're confident that our latest hardware will be embraced by our partners across the industry."

A new series - two top performance players

The XC2055 and XC4055 both feature the company's most powerful HTML5/graphics engine to date, with up to a 10x improvement in graphics performance over previous models. Both models support 8K output - one with two HDMI outputs (up to two 4K or one 8K) and the other with four HDMI outputs (up to four 4K or one 8K).

The new XC5 models represent an upward expansion of BrightSign's media player portfolio as the LS, HD, XD and XT models continue to be sold in the channel.
