The new BrightSign Series 5 players are quite simply the most powerful digital signage players in the industry. They are specifically designed with a focus on HTML performance for both playback and interactive applications.

The BrightSign XD5 product line offers improvements in 4K video capabilities and HTML performance, as well as more efficient industrial design and 4K content rotation.
Unlike the XC5, the two XD5 models offer the same 4K and enterprise performance capabilities for HTML content and differ only in terms of their I/O equipment.
Both models feature Power over Ethernet, which is an additional advance over the Series 4 XD models.

There are 2 models in the XC5 product line that differ from each other in 2 ways: 1) the number of HDMI outputs they offer - 2 on the XC2044 and 4 on the XC4055 - and 2) their HTML performance, with the XC4055 offering 2x more power than the XC2055, making it the most powerful model Brightsign has ever made.
