This month we are introducing the Nexmosphere Wireless Pickup Sensor. The sensor is a battery-powered sensor that can be placed on or in merchandise. It detects any change in position when the customer interacts with the goods and translates this into signals that are sent to the controller unit. This can be installed invisibly and at some distance from the actual sensor.

The sensor detects both the removal and the putting back of the goods on the shelf. Both events can be used as triggers on the Xperience controller, for example to start a video or light up a row of LEDs.

The wireless X-talk interface of the XF-P3 sensor can be connected to one of the EM-F base stations with 1, 4 or 8 wireless X-talk channels. All sensor settings are programmable via the controller, allowing seamless integration into your application.

Thanks to innovative energy management technology, the sensor has extremely low power consumption in idle mode. This allows the sensor to operate for more than 2 years on a single battery.

The Nexmosphere Wireless Pickup Sensor is wireless, allowing freedom of placement in or on goods. It has a small form factor and is easy to place on existing and new installations.
