The Lindy USB 2.0 Cat.6 Extender bridges distances up to 140m between computer and 4 peripherals using a Cat.6 UTP (or higher) network cable. When using Cat.5e UTP/STP cables, distances up to 120m can be achieved. We recommend the use of patch cables with rigid wires to achieve the best possible performance and compatibility.

It is a hardware solution consisting of two components: a transmitter that connects to the computer and a receiver for connecting peripheral devices. The robust aluminium housing with mounting brackets makes this extender ideal for remote access to printers, scanners, webcams and external storage media. It is also perfect for digital signage applications, home network integration, industrial control, security applications, USB device sharing and KVM extensions. A power supply is included for the receiver, ensuring a secure, stable power supply for all devices.

Please note that by using the signal amplifier No. 42709 the distance can be doubled up to 280m.
