The Lindy Cat.6 HDMI 18G & IR Extender with PoC is an efficient, reliable solution for transmitting high-quality 4K HDMI signals over distances up to 50m (164.04ft) using a standard Cat.5e/6 network cable. HDMI 2.0 18G allows transmission of high-detail 4K Ultra HD resolutions. The addition of High Dynamic Range (HDR) support ensures video content is displayed with higher brightness, greater contrast, and a wider color spectrum, perfect for a great home theater experience or eye-catching retail digital signage systems. Lossless audio formats including DolbyTrueHD and DTS-HD deliver powerful multi-channel sound to videos and a more lifelike movie experience. HDCP 2.2 allows playback of 4K content from copy-protected sources such as Blu-ray movies, media players and streaming services without compatibility issues.

The extender has an HDMI loop-through output at the transmitter, which allows simultaneous viewing on a local and remote display. Due to its high flexibility, the extender offers solutions for different scenarios, e.g. for presentation systems in the education sector, for home theater systems or trade shows. The integrated EDID DIP switch allows the user to select one EDID from both displays, thus guaranteeing easy installation and configuration with maximum compatibility with HDMI displays. PoC allows power and data signals to be transmitted over a Cat.6 cable in a point-to-point configuration, requiring only one power supply for both transmitter and receiver - ideal when the number of available outlets is limited. The IR pass-through feature allows control of source devices with compatible infrared remote controls from the remote displays.
