The Lindy KVM Over IP Extender System allows control of a source device such as a PC or PVR accessory over a standard network. This receiver must be connected to a transmitter (No. 38264 - not included) for a standard point-to-point control system. Distances of up to 150m (492.12ft) can be achieved. A decentralized control system (one-to-many) can also be set up to control a device connected to the transmitter via multiple consoles, each connected to a receiver via a dedicated Ethernet switch or VPN.

This extender system includes a convenient IR amplifier system (25 - 56kHz) for dedicated use of a remote control from the console. It is a typical solution for security systems (PVR management or control rooms), remote server administration (KVM) or the extension of AV signals via IP for large-scale distributed monitoring of industrial production facilities.
