SpinetiX expands cloud platform
Spinetix is transferring features of its Elementi digital signage software to its Arya cloud offering. This is intended to allow sophisticated applications to be operated with the cloud as well.
Spinetix is expanding the capabilities of its Arya digital signage SaaS: the cloud-based offering now integrates Elementi authoring software with its more than 250 data-driven widgets. This opens Spinetix Arya to new signage applications, from queue management to custom integrations with third-party technologies.
As an authoring tool, Elementi has a large content feature set. These services have now been transferred to the cloud. This gives users more creative options. Spinetix Arya should at the same time remain an easy-to-use cloud platform with which content can be created and published.
Spinetix calls the enhanced cloud solution a "best of both worlds" setup. "The new features we are introducing today underscore the true SaaS nature of Spinetix Arya," said Francesco Ziliani, CEO of Spinetix. "More than ever, Spinetix Arya asserts itself as a scalable cloud solution that grows with the needs of end users. It allows companies and organizations to focus on their core business without having to rethink digital signage installations from scratch."
The new features also include the HTML 5 layer. This feature allows users to create web-based content for various signage installations - including menu boards, webcam and public transport feeds, room reservation screens, public-facing KPI dashboards, and HTML video.
